All demons came from human souls in one way or another, because the very creation of them required it. Something couldn't be created from nothing. An exchange had to take place, so if there wasn't a human to begin with? Something of equal value had to be destroyed instead.

Demons could shapeshift. Celine knew it, Zoey and Mira knew it, hell all hunters throughout the genderations knew it.
They could shapeshift into humans only. Surprisingly enough, they could not transform into animals. As much as they had good disguises, it was fairly easy to spot a demon because of their strange actions, and that they could not hide their patterns.
Jeoseung saja demons were once human, they blend in better with the humans, but ultimately their
patterns would reveal themselves on their skin. Their shapeshifting is impeccable, as you'd think they're either human, or guiding your soul to the after life, not realizing they're going to consume your soul instead of guiding it.Rumi, however, is a fucking outlier and should not be included for the sake of Celine's sanity and every demon's dignity

Zoey is struggling. Work sucks, life is a constant drag, and even her hobby as a streamer feels more like work than fun at times. One of her only real comforts is her favourite artist, Rumi, seems to be moving into a new era, one Zoey is excited to follow. So, when a chatter starts to help with her cash flow problems, maybe a little give and take is fair play? When her friend Mira comes back into her life, and with this new bit of fun on the horizon, maybe things are starting to look up?
Rumi is finally free. After years of struggling under the light and airy image the studio had chained her to, her contract is over, and she can make the music she wants, do the things she wants, and she can stop putting on the performance. When one of her only real outlets, a small streamer who seems to be a fan that she has found herself watching time and time again, admits to having money problems, she doesn't think twice about throwing cash at the issue. When it starts to become more than that, she starts to hope that maybe this new chapter in her life will have some new characters too.

"Is this how you want to feel?" Zoey asked. Rumi started to nod, but she continued, "Use your words, baby."
Rumi licked her lips, trying to summon any amount of moisture in her mouth.
"I… I want to feel like… like…" She closed her eyes, trying to recall how she felt in the wildest of her dreams. "I—I want to feel like I'm less than human. I want to feel like… like I'm just a toy for your amusement."
"You want us to humiliate you," Zoey continued, and it felt like a question but didn't sound like one. "Maybe even degrade you."
The way she dragged out the word made Rumi shudder. A fog rolled into her brain, making her feel light and floaty and thoughtless. She nodded dumbly as Zoey spoke, mumbling, "Yeah, that."
"Are you hard right now, baby?"
Rumi nodded. Zoey sat up and pulled the pillow away. Rumi let go with no resistance. She was putty in the maknae's hands.
"Christ, Mir, look at her. She's leaking."
Rumi has a very specific and (in her opinion) very weird fantasy. Zoey and Mira make her freaky dreams come true.

“A drag show?” Rumi asked, head tilted curiously.
“Ooh, I didn’t know they had those here too!” Zoey squealed, holding the flier Mira had handed them just inches away from her eyes as she poured over every detail.
“Yeah, my art feeds aren’t really doing it for me at the moment, so I’m hoping mixing things up will help my inspo for our new stuff,” Mira shrugged. “Besides, queens are the best trendsetters.”
“They really are! Ooh ooh ooh! We could make it a girls night!”
“Zoey, we live together. Every night is girls night.”
Rumi chuckled at Mira’s deadpan, “Yeah, but how often do we have it at a show where we’re not the ones on stage?”
“So we’re going?!”
“Hell yeah, we are!” Rumi grinned, already mentally scrolling through her closet for a good outfit.
“Yass!”
“Whoohoo! GIRLS NIGHT!” Zoey crowed throwing her hands in the air. Rumi and Mira shared a look for only half a second before following suite.
““GIRLS NIGHT!””
