Summary
Lieutenant Junior Grade Evan “Fisheye” Buckley had left his Navy uniform and dog tag in the back of his closet, silently hoping he would never have to go back on the field again. He was supposed to be Buck, friendly and shiny and tall and altruistic firefighter with a whole bunch of friends that worked as family.
That was before the lawsuit.
Now, here he is, holding a letter from his old commander, recalling him back to active duty, a message from an old friend asking him to answer the call. With no one left to miss him, he doesn't see the harm in marching to his death.

Summary
Steve wonders how it would be to have a family, he remembers those missions where he had to play the role of someone's kid, and as fucked up as it sounds those were his fondest memories; Now he is stuck with a family that is not really his, a body of a kid burried in the backyard and a role he forced himself to play, or at least that was until a new family was introduced to him in a form of interdimensional monsters, loud children and a pair of weird adults (parents).
Basically a fic of Steve being Seven and going through all the seasons with all the implications of him being a lab kid and powers that are meant to hurt and destroy and obviously trying to hide it.

In which Will coming out forces Steve to be open about some things (because Steve’s issues will always take a backseat to making sure the kids feel safe). And Steve doesn’t mean for Eddie to find out, but he does, and it turns into a bonding experience. The blue-haired boy pauses, studies his hand uncertainly before shrugging. “Shirakumo Oboro,” he introduces in return, hand phasing right through Izuku’s when he goes to return the handshake. Shirakumo doesn’t seem surprised by it, but Izuku whips his hand back when the intense chill climbs up his arm.

Too bad that circumstances aligned to give him no other choice, resulting in him and his godson being tossed back nearly a century into the past leaving him with a significant choice to make: did he keep his head down and try and avoid changing the future?
Or did he take a very deliberate step off of the pre-worn path and see if a few changes - just here or there - could create a better future for everyone, including him.
