Think of it as the Ultimate Universe version of the MCU—a superhero take on *SAO*, with Peter and Jean as the absolute leads. Peter is written much closer to Ditko’s version.
In line with Feige’s comments, Peter and Jean are close in age.
The main story begins with the prologue. The first three chapters are background material, while the prologue itself has three parts. C6 is the real prologue and essential reading; the story proper begins with C7. If the background feels too dense, you can have AI summarize it first.
