(As I frequently say when I ramble on about what I intend to do (and not do) regarding my old Warhammer setting, I point out that something might be unlikely, but 'stranger things have happened'. Well, we have hit that unexpected moment where something strange has indeed occurred as I now drag out and dust off the cursed tome where it all began.)
This story begins behind the scenes shortly after the battle of Armatura, during the events of the Shadow Crusade as outlined in the novel Betrayer. Here, Angron finds himself summoned to Lorgar's personal chambers one evening after a particularly harrowing day of conquest and combat. He assumes this request involves holding a strategy meeting to make preparations for their next move, as always. But that's not at all what Lorgar has in mind tonight.
