Summary
The Mighty Nein are good people, so the legends say, but legends have a tendency to soften the edges of the truth. Stories about people nursing monsters within their souls have their audience, but not in bedtime stories or tales shared on roadside camps between strangers traveling the world and meeting in passing. Cutting out the pain and misery isn’t done to disrespect those who bear it- it’s just inevitable that things get lost along the way.
Villains who find themselves face to face with the Mighty Nein often expect noble, traditional heroes who would never hurt someone who fled or asked for mercy. Perhaps on some days that would even be true.

Summary
Caleb needed to fidget. Molly knew this. It was impossible not to notice, as Caleb was a heavy thinker and seemed to need something to do with his hands while he did it. It was fine when he was at a desk scribbling notes down or working on sigils and equations, but when he was simply reading or deep in thought his hands wandered for lack of anything to occupy them.
This proves to be Molly's downfall.
(tl;dr, Caleb unthinkingly grabs Molly's tail to fidget with and it gets very sexy from there.)

Summary
But, forgive me, I have gone off on a tangent: this account is for retelling the events of our expedition, not for musing upon personal matters. It will not happen again.
__
Essek attempts to keep a professional journal of the progress made on his and Caleb's Aeor field trip, but as the days go by, he finds himself writing a lot more about his colleague (and his feelings for said colleague) than their work.

Summary
Based on the headcanon that tieflings need extra physical stimulation sometimes to quell their Hellish biology's needs. Tieflings like physical contact a lot and because of their biology are resistant to some types of pain or damage. Their skin is tougher than human skin and tieflings often enjoy intense sensations. As children, this often means extra time wrestling with siblings or getting into sports. As adults, they lean towards acts of daring and danger, taking to the performing arts or the adventuring lifestyle.
Caleb finds that Mollymauk's needs for a kind of mutual, affectionate violence match his own. They agree to let off steam together every now and then.

Summary
Now, his friend was in pain. True, awful pain. And the worst thing in the entire world was that he could do absolutely nothing about it.
There was no monster to fight. No evil enemy to cut down. No arcane force that he could muster to defend her.
Now, her only protectors were behind a closed set of double doors, holding her tightly and encouraging her to push.-

Summary
"It’s a beautiful day at the Soltryce Academy—the sky is vibrant and the trees rustle with the gentlest of winds as Caleb begins his impromptu Transmutation lecture outside. From the building on the edge of the grounds he hears a muffled bell tolling for fifth period. Somewhere in the distance, a student begins to whistle.
At that moment, Caleb feels at peace.
At that moment, a Purple Worm bursts forth from the soil directly in front of him, and all of his plans for a pleasant afternoon are promptly dashed."
---
Caleb and Essek have finally settled down - more or less. While the beloved and somewhat eccentric Professor Widogast is busy inciting small student-scale riots and teaching tiny wizards morals, Essek spends his days lounging around the house, drinking wine and experimenting with the exotic concept of 'cooking his own meals'. They are pretty sure life is great - until two pre-teen assassins crash-land into the middle of the Soltryce Academy and demand the former Shadowhand be surrendered to their custody. What are the two internationally in/famous mages to do? The answer will shock absolutely no one.- Language:

Summary
Essek Thelyss comes to Soltryce to deliver guest lectures and, on the side, cultivate the brand new Archmage of Domestic Protections. Essek is prepared for espionage. He is not prepared to find a love that will change the course of his life.

Summary
“You accused me of treating this like a game. I am sorry if I’ve led you to believe that it is only a game—though I won't deny that part of it is.” Bren gives a disarming smile. “My life is either games or murder, after all.”
“Or mail fraud,” Thelyss says dryly, not even a little disarmed.
“The mail fraud is a sort of game as well.”
A sigh. “Is this your way of telling me that you intend to continue playing?”
Bren smiles again, sharper. “If you would let me.”(In which Bren Aldric Ermendrud decides to seduce the Shadowhand and finds that the best way to convince someone to be vulnerable with you is to be vulnerable in turn.)

Summary
Caleb Widogast wakes up from the first good night of sleep in far too long.
It takes him a moment to realise it's because he's not in his bed.
Is it the better mattress (lump-free and like a cloud), or the fact he drunkenly slept with Essek Thelyss, the colleague he's been secretly crushing on for the last six months?

Summary
Caleb feels his hair falling heavily over one shoulder, loose at the back. He reaches up, manacle clanking, and feels that Essek has woven braids into his hair on one side, some large and chunky, some thin and delicate. His eyebrows climb and he looks at the drow who seems almost to… blush? “Apologies – you were in pain and I… I do not deal well with being helpless. You can take them out, I know they are not an Empire style.”
