He doesn’t understand this siren, but perhaps in time he will learn. And perhaps he’ll learn more about himself on the way. Just like The Pushing and Pulling of Tides, Erik must learn the ins and outs of love.

But no one seemed to care how you were drowning in the metaphorical deep-end. Eviction was a looming consequence for a victim of your circumstances.
In times of desperation, people tend to do just about anything they can do to slip by. Going to banks or credit unions wasn't an option in store for you. So instead, you turned to another resource you knew. You borrowed some dirty money to get by- just a few hundred dollars to keep the lights on. However, these people were a lot more unforgiving with those who had debts to them than the banks were.Your impulsive decision was something you didn't plan to spiral this bad. When you see the silhouette of the debt collector at your door, you know you made an irreversible mistake.
