Description:

Teddy is canonically exceedingly possessive of the Belchers. Who's to say that, in a kinder universe, that obsession couldn't be benign? Who's to say that the Belchers might not learn to be just as devoted to Teddy in return? Here are the tales of Bob, Linda, and Teddy as friends-to-lovers and all the ensuing drama, hijinks, and squishy feelings.

Notes:

I write under the idea that each season of the show is from a different dimension or reality as per the usual conceit of animated sitcoms wherein no one ages and nothing fundamentally changes. This explains why the Belchers have celebrated twelve different Christmases in what appears to be a single year. For this series, I like to think that this universe is one where Teddy is significantly less clingy and obsessive with the Belchers but is even lonelier as a result. As well, everyone in general is emotionally healthier, but hopefully not in a saccharine way. Finally, Bob and Teddy are both bisexual.

I've not seen the entirety of the show thus far, though I have seen the majority of episodes. I base much of my writing on seasons 4-8 as those seasons are the ones that I've watched the most. However, I draw other details (arcs, backstories, etc.) from every season as I see fit. Finally, any particular version of events (such as episode-specific holidays or plots) might have happened, but I'll not be referencing anything in detail. Feel free to headcanon in whatever plots that you like.
