Summary
When May crossed the sea all those years ago she did so leaving behind her families traditions it wasn’t until the events of Selesyn the drudic magic passed down by her mother had never truly manifested. Now that the magic has manifested it’s killing her slowly as May must travel across the continent with Drew in a desperate bid to return home. If only her past doesn't kill her first as grapples with the long bloody history of the ocean.
Drew has felt lost since Leaf betrayed the guild it doesn’t help that May is dying, her own magic choking her alive. He makes a deal to leave to walls of Shademyre in a desperate bid to save May. Along the way Mysterious sky pillar calls to him as his own shadows nip and bite his heels each way. As the West of Seriyon is dangerous and holds untold horror for those unprepared with a blood dripping past and a ticking clock there’s no certainty for a happily ever after at the end of this.

Summary

Summary
Leaf lives a half-life now, with the rest of the continent in chaos as factions collect their forces and prepare for war. Gary finds himself lost and wandering unable to distinguish the difference between King of Ruin and Death Hand, running from the burden of legacy that he was never supposed to have. Leaf may have freed him, but his soul still wanders lost and without purpose. As flashes of memory and the sound of flame leave him without a plan, wandering like a ghost. So, when Ash suggests tracking down his estranged father and solving the mystery of stones that Cynthia gave her life to scatter well Gary might have to unearth a past that have long since been buried but he isn’t letting Ash or Leaf go alone.
