Summary
“Yeah, but you’re dating now, right? So do you love him like that, like love love him?” He thought he knew the answer, but he had to hear it from them. Because if they did love each other like that, it’d be perfect, right? They’d be a proper, happy family. Almost as happy as he was when his mom came back.
“Uh, we’re not dating, Chris. Why would you think that we were?” They weren’t? How could they not be?

Summary
Takes place after the Lonestar crossover episode Hold The Line. Buck, Eddie and Hen are spending the night at Eddie's parents' house and Eddie can't sleep.
------------
"You should go, before I do something I completely regret.” He screwed his eyes closed even more, silently begging the tears that were building up not to fall. Not yet. Not until he was gone. Then he could cry all he wanted, because he knew that Buck loved him, but not like that. Not the way he wanted him to. And he’d been used to trying to hide his feelings, but not when they were sharing a bed. That was too much for him.He lay rigid in the bed, waiting for his friend to leave. And he moved but didn’t climb out. Opening one eye, Eddie glanced up to see that Buck had rolled over, propping himself up with his right elbow. His left hand had fallen onto the mattress, and he was peering down at Eddie with an expression that he couldn’t quite read.

“¿Evan durmió bien?” (Did Evan sleep well?) Eddie froze. Did his father know something? Had he heard them last night? He hadn’t come out to any of his family, too much Catholic guilt in that house to do so. Plus, while he’d been living at home, he’d been with Shannon, so the topic had never come up.“How should I know?” He muttered as Ramon sat the mug in front of him. “I haven’t seen him yet.” His father just gave him one of those looks, the one that said “bullshit”. He didn’t say it out loud, but Eddie knew what he meant.

Summary
“Nothing you need can ever be stupid.” Eddie coaxed, taking Buck’s hand. “Now what’s wrong? Maybe we can fix it together?” That led to Buck wailing again. Eddie just stared, waiting for him to stop. Eventually, the wails dissolved into loud sobs, but Buck still couldn’t say what was making him feel this way. “OK, can you show me?” He asked, his thumb stroking the back of Buck’s hand. Buck nodded, then fished out the container from between his legs. Thrusting it towards Eddie, he managed to force out an “it’s...”, then started sobbing again.
“It’s empty.”

Flufftober prompt 2 - Family, Friends, Loved Ones
He couldn’t quite remember how it had happened the previous night, although alcohol had been involved. A bottle of wine and a few beers on his part; and so many glasses of bourbon that they’d both lost count on Buck’s. They’d been sitting on the couch, a movie on the TV. Which movie, he couldn’t tell you. Some action thing with Sylvester Stallone. It looked really shitty, but Buck had a crush on one of the actors, and it was his turn to choose, so they were watching it. Eddie tried to follow the plot, but he was already pretty drunk at that point, so he gave up halfway through and scrolled through Instagram. He didn’t remember uploading anything, but from his notifications when he woke up, he saw he’d uploaded a photo of Buck, his head thrown back, laughing at something, with the caption “@buckaroo69 is really drunk!” Buck had replied “No I’m not and take this down!” To which Eddie had replied “Make me :-p” That might have been the moment it started...

Summary
“I swear, Evan Buckley, if you’ve gotten us lost in here...” Eddie forced out through gritted teeth. He should have known better than to trust him in the corn maze, even though he insisted he had an “excellent sense of direction” and “was always the first one to get through these things as a kid”. Well, that sense of direction appeared to have abandoned him somewhere between Pennsylvania and California, because they’d passed the same distinctive marks on the ground three times now.
“I haven’t gotten us lost! I’m just...trying to find my bearings.” Buck turned around in a circle, once, twice, three times, then faced the way they’d just come and pointed. “It’s definitely this way!”
“For fuck’s sake, we’ve been that way! Three fucking times already!”

Summary
Turning back to his book, he managed to read one line before a shadow appeared above him, and he glanced up to see caramel macchiato guy standing at the other side of the table, looking like he was waiting for something. He managed a “huh?” as he met the man’s (frankly gorgeous) blue eyes, with an adorable strawberry-red birthmark to the side of the left one.
“I said, do you mind if I sit here? There aren’t any other seats left.” He smiled shyly, showing a row of perfect white teeth. Eddie gazed around the café and saw that he was right. The seat across from him was the only one left in the entire place. It had been empty when he arrived, but he’d obviously been too engrossed in his reading to even notice that it had filled up quickly.
“No, go ahead.”

So, now you gonna tell me what’s wrong?” Eddie finally asked as he lathered the crappy, cheap firehouse shampoo into his hair, realising that he could have just asked Buck for the good stuff, since he was right beside him.
“I’m fine, Eds, it’s just my stupid brain again.” Buck called back from the next stall. “Just worried about next week, what if it doesn’t stop raining?”

“Buck, I don’t know if this is some weird Pennsylvania tradition, or whether you’re just fucking with me, but I have to ask...your pumpkin, uh, why have you put a smaller one inside yours?” Buck glanced up nervously and swallowed the lump that had suddenly appeared in his throat.
“Well, I figured that since we carved three, they were representing some kind of element of us, right?” Eddie nodded thoughtfully. He hadn’t thought of that before, but he guessed that, because they’d designed them themselves, they were uniquely them.
“Right, I guess so, but that still doesn’t explain...” He didn’t get to finish that sentence, as, while he was talking, Buck had grabbed his hand and placed it on his stomach.

Summary
Three times that Buck got into the wrong bed, and one where he found the right one.
----
The first time it happened, Buck was exhausted...Eddie had just gotten comfortable and was feeling himself start to drift off to sleep when his door opened slowly. Groaning, he opened his eyes, and squinting, he watched as Buck silently walked around the bed, pulled back the comforter and climbed in.
“Wrong bed, Buck.” Eddie heard himself mumble, still in that drowsy stage, halfway between asleep and awake.
“No ‘s’not.” The reply came, just as sleepily. “Right bed...nice and warm...favourite person...” Then a snore as he rolled onto his side, his back to Eddie, who didn’t have either the energy or the heart to argue, so he just curled up on his side and fell back asleep.

Summary
Buck is sick. Buck is also stubborn and says he's fine when he clearly isn't. When he's in bed, he has one request for Eddie - "sing me to sleep".
----
A beep came from the thermometer, and he glanced at it. “102. You have a fever.” He announced, reading the numbers on the display.“I’m just hot under the blankets.” Buck protested, shedding one of them off, then instantly regretted it as soon as the cool air hit his skin. Shivering, he quickly pulled it back up again and moaned.
“No, you’re not. You’re stuffy, you have a fever, chills, you’ve been coughing your lungs up for the past hour, you have a headache, which I know you didn’t tell me about, but you have that look on your face. You know the one I mean.”

Dad!Buck baby fluff. I make no apologies.
“What...what happened? Our baby?” He whispered. The scrape of the chair on the floor towards him, and Eddie’s smiling face appeared in his eyeline.
“He’s right here, Buck. I’ve got him. Just let him finish his bottle and then you can hold him.” He reassured his fiancé, looking downwards at something Buck couldn’t see. He heard it now, though, the suckling of a mouth on a bottle, and he tried desperately to sit up again, needing to see his baby.

Summary
This story is a fairytale, although it may not always seem that way. It starts with a “once upon a time”, and involves a beautiful Prince, a lavish castle and an elegant, masked ball. And although these things all seem very fancy and high-class, sometimes things might not be as they seem. But anyway, as long as you understand all that, let’s get on with the story.
Once upon a time, there was a fair Prince from the ruling family Diaz, Edmundo (known as Eddie to his friends). And Eddie had a little bit of a problem. Well, OK, a pretty big problem. He had just had his twenty-fourth birthday little over a week before, and the King and Queen had very kindly reminded him that he was to be married by twenty-five. The ancient law stated that an ascending King, who was required to take over the Crown by this age, had to be married or he would have to forfeit. And, as Eddie had no brothers or sisters, if he didn’t find a suitor, the house of Kendall would take over the kingdom.

Summary
Eddie has made himself a private corner that no one except he and Bobby know about. At least, that's what he thinks...
------
"I really don’t want him in my corner, thanks. Or anyone else, come to think of it.” He said pointedly. Buck was never any good at taking hints, though, and Eddie remembered this as the blond moved closer, looked at the floor in front of Eddie, shrugged, and then threw himself down on his lap.“Ow! You’re heavy!” Eddie moaned. “And you have a bony ass.” This was so uncomfortable, he thought as he tried to wriggle into a better position.
“Maybe you should sit on me then, yours is nice and cushioned.” Buck laughed, and Eddie gave him an altogether unimpressed look, trying to push the other man off him. He stayed firm, though.
“How do you know?”

Summary
On a team-building exercise in the woods, Buck and Eddie learn their secret relationship isn't as secret as they'd thought. Buck wants revenge on Chimney for locking him in the ambulance, so he hatches a plan with the rest of the 118 to make him think he's going mad...
-----
“But...but...you...” Chimney stammered, pointing between them. “You were...holding hands...and you kissed him...and...”“No, we weren’t. And he didn’t kiss me, why would he do that? That’s ridiculous, man. Are you sure you didn’t hit your head last night when you fell?” Because Chim had tripped up last night after dinner, Buck thought he should use that to his advantage. He hadn’t hit anywhere near his head, just his butt, but maybe he could convince him...
“But…but you…you all saw it, right? Hen? Ravi?” He asked
“Saw what? They were just making breakfast beside each other like always.” Hen replied, almost boredly.

Summary
Josh and Buck are out drinking cocktails, what could possibly go wrong?
----
“NSync were always the superior boyband, and I will take no further arguments tonight about it. Although I could break out the PowerPoint to illustrate my point. Wait, does anyone wanna see my NSync vs Backstreet PowerPoint?” He yelled a little too loudly. Looking around, he caught the eye of the bartender, their regular one, Steve, who placed a finger to his lips.“I think librarian Steve wants us to be quiet.” Josh giggled, downing the remains of his glass. “I think we should, because he will throw us out if we don’t.” That was indeed true. Steve had thrown out his share of drunken idiots in his time, in fact, he’d thrown Buck out more times than he cared to count, especially when he got like this. Drunk Buck had absolutely no filter, no volume button and, worst of all, didn’t know when to stop drinking.

Summary
Buck finds a strange rose trinket in his pocket after picking up Christopher from Pepa's house. And then weird things start happening...
-----
Buck almost didn’t hear a word of that, because his eye caught the rose in front of him, which was now glowing brightly. Reaching out, he touched it with the tip of his finger and then let out an “ow!”, pulling back as it burned him.“You OK?” Eddie’s voice was full of concern. “Do you need me to come home?”
“No, it’s just my wrist.” Buck lied, because trying to explain this whole thing would take a while. And to be honest, he wasn’t entirely sure what it was. It sounded crazy – he'd found a strange trinket in his pocket, and it’s now glowing like a meteor, and is somehow hot enough to burn him, yet not make a mark on the table? It made no sense at all.

Follow-up to Love Of My Life. It's the morning after, and Buck gets woken up by Christopher in Eddie's bed, and he has no idea how he got there, or what even happened the previous night.
-----
“Buck...Buck...hey, wake up!” Buck groaned as he was shaken from his slumber by a pair of small hands (well, smaller than his), and opened his eyes to see Christopher peering down at him. “Breakfast is ready, dad says it’s time to get up.”“OK, OK, five more minutes.” He moaned, closing them again and trying to curl back up into a ball. His head was pounding, his mouth felt like he’d swallowed half a beach last night, and something seemed to be stuck in his throat. Getting up was not so on the agenda at that moment.
“Nope, now! I’m not leaving until you get up.” The twelve-year-old folded his arms and pouted. Looking up at him, he reminded him so much of Eddie that it was uncanny.
