Summary
After being surprised by a snowstorm on his hunting trip, Finrod finds shelter in a small hunter's cabin in the forest. While inspecting it, someone else had the same idea of seeking the cabin. Kazaheril, a Naryii born in Angband, is prickly and anything but happy to be trapped in the same space as the elven king.

“I am Beren, son of Barahir of the House of Bëor.Ten years ago, you, Your Highness King Finrod Felagund, were saved by my father and his men in the Dagor Bragollach and have sworn an oath to aid his kin. As proof of my heritage I have the Ring of Barahir with me, the very ring you have given my father.”
“I see the ring, and I see your father in your face.”, Finrod said. “You have come to me to fulfil my oath.”
“Indeed. I have been tasked to retrieve a Silmaril of Morgoth and hand it to the father of the woman I love. I need your aid, King Finrod Felagund.”

“This is madness, father. You’ll never make it back alive.”, she sobbed and Finrod’s heart ached. He took his daughter into his arms.

When Beren arrives in Nargothrond to urge Finrod Felagind to fulfil the oath he made to his father, he is unaware of the family he is tearing apart for his quest to retrieve a Silmaril from Morgoth.Series

Summary
The news of Finrod’s death shook Nargothrond. While it barely surprised anyone - after all, the quest had been suicidal from the start - the Elves still grieved their beloved king.
In her room, Larylieth clutched the paper so tightly it nearly tore.

Thus, when there was a knock outside her door, Larylieth closed her eyes, knowing who it was who stood outside. The door opened.
“I did not invite you in.”, she said.
“You never would have. Be glad I knocked instead of simply barging in.”, Celegorm replied.

After Finrod's death, his daughter Larylieth is next in line to inherit the throne. Celegorm and Curufin use the chance to furthen their goals by pressuring the young crown princess into a marriage with Celegorm. If she refuses, Celegorm would reveal a secret which would crumble the House of Finarfin.Series

Summary
Elurín sighed in relief when Imladris appeared in front of him. After months of being on the road fighting Orcs and protecting villages, it was good to return to a comfortable place. Eluréd had returned a few weeks earlier after having been badly wounded. Elurín patted his mare’s neck.
“See that? Soon you’ll get spoiled.” He chuckled when the mare stomped her foot and started trotting down the path. The guards bowed when Elurín rode through the gates, making his way to the stables.
“Treat her well, she has done much work these past few months.”, he told the groom, who bowed. Then, he started to make his way to Elrond’s study, but he didn’t get far as Elurín spotted the Lord of Imladris making his way to the stables from afar.

While the terrace both currently stood on allowed a magnificent view on Imladris in the evening sun, Elurín’s gaze seemed fixed on something else. Elrond made his way over and supressed a smile.
It seemed a guest of his had caught Elurín’s attention.
“That is the Lady Larylieth.”, Elrond quietly explained and Elurín simply answered with a quiet “Larylieth”.

Finrod knew why he disliked attending company gatherings. Firstly, it was all a facade and everyone was aware of that. Secondly, the food was overly presumptuous - “presumptuous” was the word to describe the entire event. Most importantly, however, was the fact that the formal clothes were uncomfortable.

He stopped abruptly when he spotted something dark on the ground. It was a scarf and he caught it just as the wind would have blown it Valar-know–where. It was dirty with specks of brown, but the high-quality was undeniable. Finrod looked around to see if someone was looking for it. Indeed, he found a candidate: A woman at the bus stop.

Summary
Finrod Felagund was reembodied shortly after his death and is welcomed by his parents and Amarië. His joy is quickly dampened when fragments of memories of a mysterious woman start to haunt him. Amarië, sensing that Finrod has changed, is confronted with her love for him, and once it is revealed that his heart belongs to a stranger across the sea, she is determined to be by his side and be a pillar of strength.
It would be far easier if Finrod were not constantly worried about hurting her whenever this mysterious woman is brought up.
