The thing is, Jay was an absolute coward -- in Kai's and Cole's opinions at least -- and it had taken forever for the latter to convince Jay to even consider asking Nya to the prom, let alone actually deciding to. But, he achieved his goal, and now Jay was working towards doing it with Cole's help.
