He guessed that his writing was just so bad that it had triggered a primal instinct within him to protect anyone else from being permanently scarred by those atrocious words. He really wanted to throw himself and his laptop out of the window right now.

They'll be free of taking care of him. It doesn't matter if it was for guilt or for true caring. They will notice that it was wrong to do so eventually. Chance doesn't know he was a hacker. Guest pity blinds him from smelling the rot inside 007n7.
Six. The last stump, a last step that put the end of his shoes past the floor.
The water shines, and he thinks something growing down there, a dark shape that could be moss.
He could clean it on his way down, if he had only noticed before and decided to bring something to the table, instead of pushing it away until he ended up outside of the house.
...Is he delaying it? No. He wants this. He is not turning around, when he's finally there, after thinking about it night after night. This night is going to vanish his consciousness, dig all the pain he made and pay for it, and he can't fuck up more if he's not breathing.
007n7 looks at the ocean, eyes tracing the vast opening, until his eyes fall to the other island, with a cave.
He could end somewhere between here and there.
They're not going to find his body. (He ignores the memories that range from dead fishes to whales returning to the shores.)
The tension leaves his chest as he sighs. He leans forward and crouchs down, ignoring the back pain as he shifts to put his legs over the edge, before sitting down.
He shudders at the water passing through the shoes, and with the only source against the freezing night being the weak light of a lamp on the quay, he trembles and his body aches him to search warm.
007n7 recalls the smile of his son.
He clenches his teeth. His hands cling to the wood, his chest tenses and his heart is stabbed. He pushes away the memory.
He doesn't deserve to see that smile again.
His hands wrap around the edge, loose wood chips dig deeper into his skin as he pulls.
Not when he's the reason that same child wraps little hands around his neck, and presses until it snaps, telling him have a good night!
-His hand pulls forward again.
'Let ourselves die?'
His heart twists on his chest when his whole body falls forward.
007n7 has never won a round against C00lkidd.
He should have never put the c00lgui on those little hands, he should have never fallen for the shining smile c00lkidd gave him, he should have never waive at his tears when he took it away, he should have never taken care of such an innocent child.
The freezing water chills his core. 007n7 gasps for his last breath.
The sound of water splashing rings in the middle of the night, and then there is silence.

007n7 wakes up gasping, and this time his lungs don't fill up with water.He looks at his side. The wrist clock is still on his midnight table. Noobie is also there.
He knows how respawning feels. His heart is beating up, his body trembling due to the freezing cold that is no longer there.
007n7 stands up. His steps are quick and quiet, tap, tap, tap and he's out of creaky old cabin floorboards to the foggy outside again.
There's the shore.

There's the shore.He doesn't walk up to the quay, instead choosing to stay at the side. He stares at the sea rise and low with its waves.
He fucked up.
The sun rises at the edge of the horizon. It stays still at the edge.

"Remember it next time then, pal." Chance pats his shoulder. It is warm. Their voice tries to be soft, understanding. "You can't forget about taking care of yourself, you know?"
