Summary
Before time began, there was nothing but an empty void. Eventually, what the Humans call, the Big Bang, occurred, and the very first universe was born. While many would believe that there is only one universe out there, there are billions more, which make up a place dubbed the multiverse. These new universes are created through a variety of ways, usually due to a simple decision being chosen causing the timeline to branch and eventually, form an entirely new universe. However, there are times where new universes come into being for no other reason other than some strange cosmic force creating it. That is where this universe comes from. No one knows why this universe formed, but when it did, it had massive consequences to the multiverse.

When GLaDOS unexpectedly takes Symmetra prisoner without anyone knowing where she's disappeared to, it sets off a cascading chain of events that leads to a major conflict between Overwatch, Talon, Vishkar, Aperture Science, and Chell, which could bring about the end of the world. Summary
This series was the result of a two person writing prompt. Each person takes a turn writing one paragraph. When the second person begins to write their paragraph, they are only allowed to read the last sentence of the previous one. This causes some confusion among authors. There can be more than one author.

Incredible fanfic. The author's descriptions are beautiful and vivid, but not overwhelming. She handles characterization very well, especially of Chell. I've never read another Chell who seems as canon. The Chell/Wheatley aspects are slow and realistic (as much as Portal is realistic, at least). The only complaint is that GLaDOS is much more malevolent than at the end of Portal 2, but there are reasons.
