Addison was unfortunate enough to have had his skin burned by someone he once knew, at a rather young-ish age. The scar that was leftover, has been haunting him ever since.
And ever since, one day, his stupid brain decided to remind him about it, he's been so much weaker, so much more tired, and so much more scared. Luckily for him, one of his all-time besties Davis Schneider cares too much to let him bottle everything up.

I have no clue where this story is going nor how many chapters i want to write, honestly cant even believe i'm posting this, but i figured that if i was going through the trouble to write all of this, might as well not gatekeep :3

Davis was regretting his decision right now. Maybe he should've just bit the bullet and asked Ern. Ernie wouldn't be keeled over in a fit of giggles at Davis' expence right now. But maybe that would be worse. Because Ernie would be nice about it.
"No, no it's not funny", Addy said, but it sounded condescending in Davis' ears. "But I'm serious Schneids", he tells him, as if Addy is ever serious about anything. "It kind of suits you bud". Davis actually swings at him this time. It's a pretty half hearted attempt, and Addy catches his wrist easily to stop him. Davis can feel the heat blooming in his cheeks.
