Summary

Cloud Strife is an omega, disguised as a beta and illicitly working as an infantryman. Omegas aren't allowed to work in the army. For as long as people could remember, the dreams had existed. Dreams in where you'd meet the pack you were destined to be with once you turned eighteen. The only problem? You'd meet them in their animal forms with no way of communicating your or their names or where they lived, leaving to many people never finding their pack
To rectify this and help everyone find their pack somehow, events called "meeting nights" were eventually created where people would spend the whole night in animal form to try and find their pack that way and it usually was a huge success with many packs finally being completed
Cloud Strife honestly never had time or need for such nights as he was too busy helping his friends Tifa and Aerith run the restaurant they own and he honestly liked the life he had without a pack to interrupt. However, as a favour for Aerith, he finally agrees to join in once and try to find his pack
He never could have expected who they were....

Every person is born with a fateful mark on their wrist, which is a piece, and when people with the same mark appear, their marks will combine, forming a complete and unique shape. Once they find each other, they will gather and become a herd, each herd has at least one Omega and that Omega acts as the maintainer of the herd's race. Because of their important role in determining the survival of the entire herd, the Alphas will prioritize finding the herd's Omega first. The marks act as a compass for members of the herd to find each other and also transmit their feelings to each other to know if the members are safe or not. But the imprints do not naturally join together, there is a requirement that the members of the herd must truly have feelings for each other, without force or reluctance, for the pieces of their imprint to be combined.
In Shinra,the so-called strongest herd coincidentally gathers all four of Shinra's generals. Everyone admires them but the thing is, their mark is not perfect, it is still missing a position, the most important position, the person who should have been found first - so he/she is where now?? -

Cloud Strife had always hated high school. As one of the few omega's in Nibelheim, he had often been bullied and teased about how no one would want a weak omega like him until he eventually left for Midgar and found his true pack, who were actually ecstatic to meet him and therefore proving his former bullies all wrong.
Because of the bullying, he was less than inclined to attending the reunion held in Nibelheim, especially with his pack sent on a mission without him, but since he didn't have any excuses he could use, even with his job as a Turk, he was forced to go. Thankfully, he still didn't go alone as his friend Cissnei accompanied him as a favour for Zack.
However, even without his pack being with him, it would turn out to be a night full of surprises
