Summary
After a very bad, life-threatening accident, Basil finds himself waking up at the bottom of a hole. He was shockingly trapped inside a large, secluded region under the surface of the Earth, separated by a some sort of barrier. The In-between. When a human falls into the In-between, it means they have given up their soul. There was probably a thousand reasons why Basil might have given up his soul – too many for him to count on one hand but his first thought was guilt. Guilt over what he did to Mari, and not understanding why he did it. Guilt over he tried to stop Sunny from leaving and living his life.
Now Basil has to deal with monsters trying to steal the little soul he has left, a deranged talking Sunflower that keeps popping up and mocking him…but mainly…he has to deal with this black and white Sunny-look alike that just won’t leave him alone – A Sunny-look alike that won’t take no for an answer…
Secrets, heartbreak, betrayal, will Basil ever be able to rest? His mind had already been broken – this was the last thing he needed.

Summary
The Underground's hope is starting to come back. With Asgore leaving to ruins to resume being king and Chara being adopted into the Dreemurr household, changes are being made. However, through the turbulence of the kingdom with Asgore sewing the kingdom back together and spreading word of peace between humans monsters, and not all monsters being so quick to be persuaded, Chara seeks a way to escape it. After all, many of the same monsters Chara had grown to love had begun their relationship with lethal magic.
Death was a hard thing to forget, especially when reminders in the shape of blooming buttercups pepper her body.Series
