A Grease AU!Losers fic.
Big Bill Denbrough, the Losers' unparallelled, unfailing leader, had decided about a month ago that he was obsessed with Grease. Out of absolutely nowhere, he was stealing Richie’s leather jackets whenever the taller boy wasn’t wearing them himself and playing “Greased Lightnin’” unironically for the whole group as they piled up in Silver on their way home from school. After only a week, Bev was requesting him to play “Look at Me I’m Sandra Dee,” and Stan was singing along to “Summer Nights” with him and laughing along. Ben hummed “You’re the One That I Want” while he walked from class to class.
That was weeks ago, and since then, Eddie’s whole life had become one big 1950’s musical. It wasn't that he didn’t like Grease, specifically. Eddie didn’t like musicals. He didn’t like the unnecessary falsetto riffs or the expository song lyrics. If he had to be in a musical, at least it was Grease instead of something else, but he wasn’t going to like it. He wasn't going to like a musical. That wasn’t Eddie. -

When the Fall Out Boys land in 1959 Rydell High, they find themselves thrust into roles in the original high school musical. No matter how unsuited they may be to playing Greasers and Pink Ladies, or how badly Gerard doesn't want to be seen in a poodle skirt, they've all got parts to play. And if they don't play their parts, the parts will play them.

Starring Joe Trohvolta (hey, you tell me his outfit in "Dance, Dance" wasn't 110% Grease and I'll call you a liar), Sandra Dee Stump, Andy Kenickie, Petey Rizzo, Frenchie Way, Cha-Cha Way, and assorted Agents of Story that will do whatever it takes to get the boys from FOB and MCR (and poor Lyn-Z who knew what she was getting into and volunteered anyway) into the roles they were very much NOT born to play, but will anyway.
