Summary
Two years after the events of the true pacifist ending the player did something incredibly risky. With Chara's assistance, they were successfully able to reestablish a connection with Frisk, but this had unexpected consequences. It caught the eye of a threat far more dangerous than anything Frisk, Chara, or the Player had ever seen before. It captured one of them, and gave the other two a choice, save their friend and convince them to change their mind, or watch as the entire universe is annihilated.

“it’s just…you keep acting like something horrible is waiting for you at the bottom of this mountain.” His whispered voice was calculated and obnoxiously observant.
Frisk chewed their lip and felt their nails subconsciously start digging into their palm. The last thing they wanted to do was ruin anyone’s excitement about the surface with their own anxieties. If anything, they thought they’d been hiding their fears pretty damn well.
“There are some things, Sans…” their voice seemed to start against their will, hushed and constricted. They put a hand over their heart, which was beating restlessly.
“…that I just can’t explain to you,” Frisk finished exasperatedly.

Mettaton and Papyrus refuse to let go of their offspring, T.N Roman, due to the monster cruelty given in the outside world. Once Frisk could no longer assist them, they had to settle for a new plan. Their long-term friends share the same struggle, Alphys and Undyne, with their child "Styx". The only solution they had was to send them to the only school that allowed monsters, which was Toriel's.
Even if it is a monster only school, it didn't mean it was safe, but it was the new parents' only option. In the underground their guardians didn't have this much trouble, but now that it was a new world, they had new struggles.
It was a struggle to raise Roman already for them, but there will always be challenges anyway.

The Monsters have been freed, and everyone has been saved! Even Chara, though no-one is quite sure how that one happened. Along with attempting to find out, Frisk, Chara, and their assorted family and friends begin to adjust to life on the surface, and the Dreemurrs grapple with the sudden reappearance of not one, but two, thought-to-be-dead-children, and the memories this brings up. In the end, though, everything will be okay, won't it? Love and silliness will assuredly prevail, and knowing this... it fills you with DETERMINATION.
[I sincerely apologize to anybody hoping/waiting for updates to this story; I want to continue it but I honestly have no motivation or inspiration to write anything Undertale-related right now.. A different hyperfixation has its claws in me. I really hope I'll be able to continue writing this eventually, but unfortunately that time is not now and it probably won't be soon either. Sorry. Now, with the help of his family and friends, he works hard as an ambassador to consolidate the still fragile peace and right the wrongs of the past.
But alas, the way ahead is long and full of pitfalls: not everyone welcomes the return of the monsters to the surface. Following a speech in town, Frisk is attacked and sees his Soul slowly shattered. Worse still, an anti-monster faction and crooked politicians are undermining human-monster relations.
Many fights will come before everyone reache their ideal. Yet, despite all this, Frisk will have to keep his Determination to face the terrifying shadow of an unknown evil that hangs over all their heads and threatens the current timeline.
Don't forget : beware of the man who speaks in hands.
