Summary
It is the year 20xx and a new form of technology has begun its production. The robot masters, advanced machines with the ability to have human emotions and complex thoughts, are made to assist humans in fields of work deemed too dangerous. Among this developing technology is Rock, a robot child built to help his creator Dr. Thomas Light around his home Light Labs. Along with his sister Roll, it was a simple life of cleaning and walking around the city of Monsteropolis.
When Dr. Light's old friend turned rival, Dr. Albert Wily, starts building his own robot masters to conquer the world for recognition, Rock steps up to protect the ones he loves as Megaman, a powerful fighting robot with the ability to copy any robot's weaponry. But over time, the wars between him and Wily start to affect their lives. Humans are starting to fear a possible revolution of robots, robot masters are evolving at a bizarre rate, and the existence of a possible alien civilization guarantee change. As Rock battles the dark forces outside and inside his home, he will learn who to trust, who to watch, who to protect, who to cherish, and how far a hero will go to achieve peace.

We all know that Caine is loosely based on Am from 'I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream', but what if he was also based on Robbie, Speedy, Cutie, and Nestor from Isaac Asimov's 'I, Robot' novel. This is a character study of a conflict between code and emotion. What I think could be a realistic reason for Caine to abstract.

And Stede's unique brain allows him to grow, and develop a creativity and an individuality that he was never meant to have, and most importantly, to want.
It’s bad enough, in this world, that humans want. Ed has spent his whole life pushing that urge down, to work towards what he’s supposed to aim for. Has fought hard not to stay in the mould that he was destined for, but has had to fight just as hard to tamp down his own wants to fit into the one he’s chosen. Has cut bits off and tried to forget how to want them. He can see why unbridled desire appearing in a robot - no shame, no need for conformity, only logic pathways and the Three Laws to guide them - would freak them out.
