Never in his years of knowing Tenma, had the professor ever heard him make the sound he made as he watched Toby launch himself into the belly of the machine he helped create. His cries were the only thing that could be heard next to the groaning and screeching of steel being stressed too much. The city deafened to an eerie quiet, as if to respect the mourning of a man who has just lost everything.
When the shrieking and grinding of the monstrosity growing smaller and smaller had hit its climax, it disappeared. The only evidence of this PeaceKeeper's existence was the absolute destruction of the city.
