“About what I'd say if I ever met my past self. I know I said I wasn't sure, but I – I thought about it a lot, you know, when I was in the past. I – I often had the thought that maybe, if I figured out a way to go forward in time again, I could... make a stop by our past. You know.”
He swallowed the pork. “Change it.”

After two apocalypses, Hyrule is settling into a new norm. Its people, brave and defiant, have survived it all. But of them, very, very few remember the way it used to be.
Link isn't one of them. He doesn't want to go back. He loves Hyrule as it is now, broken cloud barrier and all. Besides, they've already learned their lesson. Time travel does not change the past, regardless of the strange dreams of the neo-champions. He doesn't even know enough to decide if it was a world he liked.
Then, he recalls.
And he's always been one to fight losing battles.

A knight; a warrior; a Hero. They all ring true. Link is a knight— or at least he was— he is a warrior, and he is a Hero. One thing rings true above all others.
Link is alone.After Zelda vanishes, and Link wakes up on the Great Sky Island, he's plagued with dreams of Zelda, who's trapped in a dreamlike, hazy state, with eyes that are as vibrant as they are unnatural. She barely remembers her own name, much less their friends or family.
But she recognizes Link. -

It fails... but has an unexpected consequence. Link, Zelda, and Impa now remember all of their lives, and how they've fought the same battle over and over. And they're over it. They're ending the cycle. Now.
Will include: Link taking no shit from Revali, Impa greatly relaxing her stance of propriety and tradition, and Zelda remembering how much fun her other lives could have.

What hadn’t come up in Yiga training was the golden shimmer of Link’s hair - like captured sunlight - or the way it framed sharp cheekbones and a strong jaw. And wow, those eyes were really blue; they practically put sapphires to shame.

Link knew he was good at what he did, honestly, he was not one to make self-deprecating remarks about himself.
Most of the time.
His mother was a knight, and his father was dead, and here he was to handle his destiny alone. Or so he thought.
Fi watched from within the sacred sword, her eyes, or lack thereof, narrowed at the way her master was regarded on a daily basis. How close he came to breaking each day, how he came closer and closer to snapping. It plagued her to no end that no one seemed to notice, least of all the one he was assigned to protect.

Izumi was an enigma to the entire class, and her sister even more so. That was fine, however, they were kind enough, and they were always available to help if someone needed it.
That didn't explain why she always looked at Jirou with such fiery anger, really, she didn't even try to hide it.
So the question remained, Why?
