In their youth, Forsythe Jones, or Jughead, as he had insisted on being called then, had not been comfortable in the spotlight. When Betty first met him, he had been standing in Archie’s shadow, watching as though he was no more than a mere onlooker. Now, he was much changed.

``It's a long story.`` The blonde sighed and moved to sit in the chair on the opposite side of the desk, still avoiding direct eye contact with the brunette.
``I have alcohol.`` The taller agent spoke with a playful tone and a smirk. Betty heard some shuffling before she rose her head, seeing the brunette holding a bottle of whiskey. ``I always keep some in my desk.``
``Alcohol would help.`` Betty's eyes finally met Agent Drakes for a quick second before the blonde had to look away, her face beginning to overheat once more.
