They commenced in a dance, the only song was the one that played from their hearts as they stepped in time with each other. Their sways and movements were perfectly in tune as they moved across the snow, crisscrossing new tracks over the old, writing new melodies as their bodies moved.
It was almost practiced, and if anyone had been present to view it, they would have said the same thing. But they had never done this before, never once had they danced, much less practiced, yet the urge to do so had plagued Chara suddenly, as the minutes ticked toward midnight.
"I Like this dance," Frisk commented as they swayed, an easy smile on her face, "But I feel as if I've stolen it in her place."
