Note: this is not a historical AU piece but was loosely based off the world building in 'Conrad's Fate'.

Personally, he thinks it’s bullshit considering two other Robin’s died on the job—even if Blondie was just faking it—so it’s hardly fair to label him the dead Robin, even if he was the one who made it cool by biting the dust first.
… Jason has just been informed that describing his untimely death as ‘cool’ is a bad example to set for children so to rectify this: Don’t die kids. It wasn’t fun, you probably won’t come back from it, and if you do manage a spectacular resurrection, there’s at least a 63% chance that it’ll be as a The Walking Dead-esque zombie instead of an anti hero with cool gun skills.

He had let her at his notes and papers, but she had never gotten the sense that he knew what he was talking about himself, and so he had failed to teach her anything of value. Her lips moved in the memory of the shapes the unfamiliar letters had taken, but she couldn’t put them into her own tongue beyond the first few lines. She watched her brothers discuss this tongue she didn’t know, and she tried to raise her voice in to join them, but it broke. Anatole swung at the air, and Hippolyte laughed.
