“Are you sure he’s fine?” George asks. He doesn’t turn around, unable to tear his eyes away, but he knows Dream’s mom is still standing in the doorway.
“Honey,” she says softly, “he’s comfortable, I promise. And completely knocked out.”
George’s eyes sting and his throat aches. He tugs at the sleeves of his hoodie, pulling them down over his hands and resisting the urge to reach out and touch Dream. “But, um—” George bites his lip, feeling guiltier each time he doubts the knowledge of Dream’s mother—an experienced nurse. He exhales shakily and turns to look at her. “But he’s—he’s frowning. What if he’s in pain? What if the medication isn’t working and—?”
[Or, Dream is recovering from surgery and George won't leave his side.

He looks back at the road, thankful that the street he was driving at only needed a straight line to reach his destination. They're almost home. Sapnap groans internally, he really doesn't want to drive and park his car in the midst of this.

Summary
Would Dream adore his noisiness just as much? Would he find it endearing or arousing? Or would it just be annoying?
George’s gut swirls with arousal, wishing Dream would use that strength to pin him to the bed and fuck him stupid. He can’t let that happen though, because it wouldn’t just be about Dream fucking him, it would be about Dream having to take care of and be careful with George basically the entire time, and that’s not fair to him.
Dream gets subby too, from time to time, but that’s just it. It’s not every time. Sometimes when George is fucking him, they’re giggling and whispering dumb jokes or how much they love each other. Dream doesn’t always slip, doesn’t melt and become mindless and floaty, the way that George would if he were to bottom.

George always tops Dream, but for once he wants Dream to fuck him. The thing is anytime he gets fucked, he becomes subby and noisy and he worries it’s annoying. Anxious about whether or not Dream would like that side of him, George avoids talking about it with Dream and the two end up misunderstanding each other. George’s disdain towards talking about it leads to confusion, but when he finally opens up, things change for the better.

he quickly returns the embrace, circling his arms securely around george’s shoulders and pulling him in. george lets out a sigh, and dream can feel the way his breath grazes the skin of his neck. goosebumps rise all over his body, and he refrains from shivering.
“thanks for takin’ care of me,” george mumbles into the fabric of dream’s sweater. “for being here.”
“of course,” dream replies, pressing a faint kiss into george’s hair. “‘m always here for you. love you.”
“mmm,” george pulls back slightly to peer up at dream, locking him in place with his gaze. “me too.”

“There you go,” Sapnap coos softly, and that makes George feel even more… Well, he can’t even put a name to the feeling. But he knows he likes it. “Can you take off your shirt for me, Georgie? I wanna be able to massage your bare shoulders and neck properly,” And George does as he’s told again, without any playful arguing or urge to tease or anything like that. He slowly, carefully, takes his shirt off and sets it on his lap. He grips it a little, watches the way it bunches in his fists, and when he feels Sapnap’s hands on his neck again, pushing around at the muscles, he can feel his eyelids getting heavy.

George falls into a non-sexual subspace while getting a massage, but before he can piece it together, Sapnap leaves and he drops. He later talks to his boyfriends about what happened, and so the next time he gets a massage and falls into a non-sexual subspace, he's treated right.

Really, he doesn’t know why that word trips him up now. They both call Patches their baby frequently. But something about the domesticity of the entire morning does him in.

“What- what are you going to do to me?” Sapnap asks, sounding so oblivious and scared as he pulls his shirt completely off and tosses it aside, staring at it longingly for a moment before looking back to George.
The guilt almost overpowers the Brit until he reminds himself that this is pretend. He knows Sapnap wants this, Sapnap knows what’s about to happen, they’re just doing a scene. Besides, if the guilt truly does become too much, he can always call red.

Sapnap wants to try a new type of scene in the bedroom: consensual non-consensual. George is on board with it, wanting to give it a try too, and things are going well until George gets in his own head about it. The lines between what’s real and what’s pretend start to blur for him, and the guilt ends up swallowing him whole.
