Summary
Four and Wild get separated from the rest of the Chain by a portal accident. Stuff happens, and Four tries to split, but something goes horribly wrong. Now Four, with a head full of The Colors and extra limbs, as well as an anxious Wild have to travel together while a certain dark is hunting them. During this time Four and Wild bond, and long tucked away secrets and forgotten memories finally come to light.

The look on Ghirahim’s face was nothing short of ghastly.

Or; Dark is kept in a small, empty room for hours at a time as punishment whenever he fails to kill the heroes. It does more damage than he realises, and, when a foiled escape plan somehow leads to Dark ending up among the chain... Maybe he can start to heal.

“I need your help, Shadow,” he admitted. “I’ve heard about you, you know. What you’ve done. I could use your expertise.” Shadow’s blood ran cold, but he wasn't done. “However! Before we get into the nitty–gritty, I have a gift for you. It's right behind you.”
Shadow turned slowly, trying to keep half an eye on Dark. He didn't like the guy one bit. There was just something…off about him.
But when he turned around, all other thoughts left his mind. Because lit by a flickering brazier behind him, just like the others in the circle, was Link.

Depth used his weight to his advantage, rolling on top of Shackle to pin him to the dirt. They tangled, but Depth ended up holding Shackle’s wrists tightly behind him, pushing his chest into the ground. The dry dirt rubbed uncomfortably on Shackle’s cheek.

Warriors took a moment to collect his thoughts, took a deep breath, and said “It was the very first battle. I was pulled away to the front lines immediately. I was gone for a week, fighting, and when I got back to the town… I found out that she was one of the first to die. And by the time I got back, she was already buried.”
“... Shit, Wars,” Legend said softly.
“I don’t remember the last thing I said to her,” Warriors admitted, running a finger along the edge of the paper. “I was too focused on training, and… meaningless things. So I keep the drawing around. I’ve forgotten a lot of people, a lot of soldiers over the years, but I… That’s someone I’m definitely not going to forget.”
