Ginette's best friend gets into a life-and-death race with an sketchy terraforming start-up and Ginette becomes an unlikely player in a civic uprising.
As the action builds, Ginette and Data must take the risk to love and be loved in a world full of uncertainty. (They do, and it's lovely! But there are some tear-jerking moments along the way.)

Summary
The Enterprise and its crew encounter yet another strange problem. However, unlike many past encounters, this one is believed to be directly affected by The Federation. Having come across a destroyed rebel Klingon vessel, the crew discover that they had been smuggling a highly valuable and prohibited cargo. As with his usual behaviour, Q heads back onboard Captain Picard's trusty ship and attempts to make up for his past actions.
However, Q soon finds himself feeling unfamiliar with his own thoughts. Perhaps Lieutenant Finn will be able to help him in his realizations... But with the mystery the entire ship is faced with, they both may find themselves in a difficult situation indeed.
