The traveler and the veteran were in a different Hyrule now, in the middle of a vast field. They could see a town in the distance so they started heading in that direction.
Link wanted to get away from Hyrule. There were no hard feelings towards the kingdom, but he had gone through so much to save it, only for his efforts to be forgotten. All he wanted was to just return home to the forest, but without Navi that wasn't possible.

To never even think of leaving and going out to the rest of the world, to just stay and let others die in exchange for his protection, that his life was way more important than those of many civilians, to have to hide from all potential threats yet still have the title as "The Hero Of Hyrule".
But sometimes...he can't help but wonder...maybe if he had been a better hero, maybe things would've been better...
