After several years stuck in an alien submarine at the bottom of the oceans on a foreign planet, Alterra maintenance technician Ryley Robinson hijacks the submarine's subsystems during an emergency warp. The problem being...while it's WHERE he wanted, in a vague sense, it's precisely where and WHEN the sub emerged that proves to be troublesome. Unable to remain in the barely-functioning submarine, Ryley ends up forced into exploring a decrepit undersea wreck of a base. One over seventy thousand feet below the waters of the North Sea, shrouded by an anomalous veil. The Hadal Blacksite is the final obstacle between Ryley and freedom, and he doesn't have a death-collar aimed at his neck nor a lack of tools at his disposal. But when one can't simply resurrect from death, it'll take more than brute force to get through the dangers presented by this facility.
