I had an idea for the original timeline pre-loop where the first Chimeramon came from, and I can’t be bothered to write the actual story. So feel free to write this yourself.

The moment the enormous man dropped a big hand on his shoulder and squeezed, Daisuke was sure he'd throw up.
He wanted to race forward to untie Ken and drag him free, but there were almost a couple dozen kids, some of them older and bigger, circling around his bound form on the floor of the truck, eerily illuminated by the yellow glow of the single light on the left, and the man holding him in place, the man who'd introduced himself as Oikawa.
Even from this distance, Daisuke could see the tears glistening in Ken's eyes, but he couldn't get to him, couldn't protect him, couldn't save him. Not like this.
OR
This is a canon divergence of episodes 44 & 45.
Daisuke catches up to Oikawa's truck, but without Demon's arrival as a distraction and cause for Ken to be brought out, there's no good way to break Ken free. His attempt gets him captured instead......and then things just Get Worse from there. -
