He's getting tired of fighting boring miramon and rookie espers at the union. He yearns for a tougher fight, and the longer he goes without one, the angrier he becomes.
There's one Esper who gets his attention, however, yet he doesn't seem to want to fight him in any capacity. Tang Xuan can sense there's something off about the lone, six armed Esper in the training room each night, but he can't figure out what. He's even more confused when said Esper asks to fight him, which he promptly refuses. He wants to help though, so he decides to stick around to try and figure him out.
