How interesting. A human with magic. You don't understand. How do you have magic? You don't know. All you know, is that you are the only human with magic. And, you hate humanity. They have never been kind to you, nor have you been kind to them. But you have grown tired of this place. There are rumors, of a place mount Ebbot. It is said to have monsters trapped below. Few people believe this, but all anyone knows for sure, is that anyone who goes down... never returns. And that's why you decided to jump down. Hell, life with monsters will probably be a thousand times better than life with humans. The only reason you haven't jumped yet is because you know there's a chance you'll die on impact. Oh, and of course, because of the guards around the mountain to prevent people from jumping. So far, six humans had fallen down the mountain, children, teens, and adults alike. Well, only one adult. But three children and two teens had fallen down to. Out of idiocy and curiosity you assumed. But, well, you supposed you were no better than them. Though, you were jumping down because you wanted to. And, perhaps, a bit of morbid curiosity. And with that, you jumped. And then. You heard a voice. This is going to be rewritten (hopefully).

And things are . . . fine.
They’re okay. Not great—maybe not even good—but they’re fine. Their people aren’t well-liked, but their Kingdom has sovereignty and lands of their own, and the riots died down eventually. Things might not have gone well with human society, but they could be worse. After all, it’s been ten years and almost everyone’s still alive.
Almost.
Still. Monsters are good at making the best of what they’re given—and great at fighting for what they have.
