Summary
I had a crazy idea to write a story in which Bucky Barnes somehow falls through a portal (or maybe just hits his head) and finds himself.... in Middle-Earth. You read that correctly. About the Middle of the Third Age, to be precise.
Is it a dream, or is he really here, encountering Elves, Dwarves and some very strange Men - as well as an Orc or two and maybe even Gandalf at some point? I have not made up my mind up, but I hope to have fun with a modern superhuman lost in a very strange world, full of creatures just as powerful as him.
I don't know how this will turn out, or how people will like it, but here's my first chapter.
The author is European, hence the spelling and forgive me if I get any details about the American landscape wrong.

Three dwarves and a rabbit are turned to stone by the White Witch, and fall through a chink or chasm into the World of Men. There they seem destined to spend the rest of their existence as garden gnomes…unless Aslan's power to restore extends even here.

Summary
The Shire faced another Fell Winter, and somehow this one was so much worse. But worst of all, it was followed by a Diseased Summer. The crops are dead and dying, and Bilbo knows there will be no food for another Winter. So he finds the solution, the hobbits must move to Erebor. It takes a long time in the middle of summer, but they manage, and not without loss. Bilbo revists the many locations of his adventure, and with them comes many waves of grief and regret, until he's finally at Erebor and the crux of his emotions and losses. Now he has to face the empty spot Thorin has left behind and learn to live another new life here under the mountain.

WELCOME BACK MY LOVES!!! If you are brand new to the reforged universe, you need to go back and read Reforged. This won’t make sense otherwise.
A few things before you can read on. This will just be an ongoing work broken into ACT’s. Some will be quite substantial others not so much...though so far all the ACTS I have done are over ten chapters...sooooo....ya. Before I post an ACT, I do try and get it mostly done before posting anything…incase I lose momentum and didn’t finish it. Nothing worse than getting sucked into a story and it being left hanging.
ACT one through I think three are complete. I will eventually have some ACT’s which will be short one-shot...but I have not done any of those yet so who knows. Still, I thought this way would be easier than making a bunch of separate stories so you can keep them in chronological order.
Heads up, I do proofread these before posting, but you will need to forgive me if I miss a spelling error or completely spell something in the Tolkien universe way wrong. It will happen. Sorry.

Summary
Prince Bilbo Baggins of the Shire knows nothing outside of the mossy kingdom of the The Shire he's been trapped in for nearly all of his life. That is, until a handsome and charmingly chivalrous prince comes unexpectedly to his rescue. He wants only one thing, Bilbo's hand in marriage. King Bungo and the King of Dul Guldur agree to this proposition without hesitation.
But Bilbo Baggins certainly did not except the road of a prince's betrothed to be a perilous one, and he soon finds himself longing to be as far away from his prince as possible.
In this story, things are not as they seem.

Bilbo and Thorin were cursed by Smaug upon recovering the Arkenstone. Bilbo sets out to break the curse at the same time that a Blacklock dwarf appears in Erebor claiming to be Thorin's Consort. Bella Baggins is hired to be the burglar for the Company of Thorin Oakenshield. Only, she doesn't know this; nobody bothered to tell her she was supposed to be hosting thirteen dwarves and a wizard for dinner, to explain exactly what her duties as burglar entails.
That would've been nice to know beforehand, thank you very much.
She's off on an adventure, to heal the land far to the East and over ranges and rivers that keeps calling out to her.
Without the dwarves.
Because nobody bothered to tell her anything.
Erebor may have been calling out for help, but she won't know what hit her.

Frerin reached down, brushing his fingers along the deep gouges in the dirt. His hand came away black.
“That’s not mud,” Dwalin muttered.
From behind the hedgerow, a low growl echoed.
Then came the screech. sharp, guttural, inhuman.
And just like that, the Shire was no longer safe. Belladonna Baggins never asked for more dwarves in her garden, or danger in her hills, but fate has never been much for courtesy.
