On darker days, Mirabel thinks this is true but on others, she hopes that nothing is beyond repair.
Instead of Alma and Mirabel reconciling after Casita falls down, a rift forms between them and the family as Mirabel runs away. A year later, Mirabel hears of a plot to plunder her hometown and rushes back home. Tragedy strikes and the Madrigals soon come to understand what Alma and the other elders were running away from.
On Mirabel’s darkest day, she finally receives a miracle and ends up in her 15 year old body at the day of Antonio’s gift ceremony. Armed with knowledge of the future and a new understanding of her family, Mirabel fights off a dark future. But the future is a tricky thing as Bruno can attest to. Will Mirabel save her familia and comunidad or are they destined to come crashing down?

Every day was a constant battle for Mirabel, as she had to live her life believing wholeheartedly how much of a burden she is on the family, and believing that her existence was meaningless, as she brought nothing but dishonor to the Madrigal family.

Velvette has a secret, when she was alive she was a girl named Marinette Dupain-Cheng, and more importantly the hero Ladybug.
Of course that doesn't really matter now, considering she was murdered and consigned to Hell, eventually become the overlord Velvette.
Secrets unfortunately have a habit of coming out, with Velvette unwittingly revealing the fact she was murdered at the rip old age of fourteen years old during an overlord meeting. Soon enough more secrets come to light, and not just Velvette's at that.
Of course Carmilla Carmine on finding out, begins to keep an eye out on the young overlord much to said overlord's annoyance, besides she holds a similar secret to Velvette, being a former ladybug wielder as well.
Besides there’s the fact there are the odd occurrences going on in Paris, and the fact Adam had recently attacked the Hazbin Hotel and the resulting aftermath to consider as well.

What if... Mirabel didn't argue back? What if she left before Casita crumbled and went missing for a week before being found on the brink of death? Each family member has a chapter that will be published that focuses solely on them and Mirabel. Every character will get more of an in depth development and more of a backstory to give them more material. I have included many headcanons in this (for example certain relationship dynamics like Isabela and Pepa being very close)
