Summary
This work arose from two mirrored one-shots I wrote on Tumblr, one from Rey's perspective, and one from Kylo/Ben's. Then I started getting feedback, and now it's become a full-fledged fic.
Several months have passed since the Battle of Crait, and Rey of Jakku and Supreme Leader Kylo Ren have continued to haunt each other, appearing at random to each other throughout their days and nights. But the connection is unstable, and longing and loneliness start to overwhelm other concerns.

Leia has grounded Rey, keeping her confined to the new Resistance base on Barkhesh. Despite her protests, Rey falls into a boring routine, until she's given a Force vision urging her that the answers she seeks are on Tatooine.
She follows her intuition, running to Tatooine; running inexplicably to Kylo Ren.

Summary
Ben remembers Rey's eyes the day she led them to the path. How proud she sounded, pushing branches to get them deeper into the woods. He remembers how she had glanced at him before taking Poe's hand and saying "I can't wait to show you the cave.", how it had made him a little angry. A little bit sad.
A silly little fic about a group of kids and first love. Rey has a big crush on Poe but Ben knows how to be patient. It takes them a while to figure it out but in the end everyone's happy.

Of all the people in San Francisco she could break down in front of, it had to be Ben-fucking-Solo. She took a few steps backwards, intending to spin around and run away before she could embarrass herself any further, but a large hand wrapped around her wrist before she could.
“Wait.” He didn’t say any more for a second. He only looked at her, his eyebrows drawing minutely together, as if he was puzzling through a stubborn bug, an impossible problem.
Then, just as Rey was about to shake his hand loose, she heard him ask, “Do you want to?”
UK borne Rey Unkar thought she finally found a home in Silicon Valley: she has close friends that love her, a great career at Resistance Labs, a vacation to Puerto Rico in the plans, and even an online friend who she can nerd out with on all things C++. Then, her H-1B extension gets denied and she has 10 days before she is required to leave the U.S.
