Summary
After the chaos of the Tournament of Elements, Master Wu believes the ninja team needs fresh strength, someone with a gift unlike any they've seen. His search leads him to Liora, a quiet, sharp-tongued waitress in Ninjago City struggling to make ends meet and endure an ungrateful home life. Unbeknownst to her, Liora is the Elemental Master of Spirituality, an ancient, nearly forgotten power tied to the soul.
Convinced of her potential, Wu invites her into the world of ninjas and Spinjitzu. But with his own schedule stretched thin, he entrusts her training to the one person who might push her too far: his brother, Sensei Garmadon.
Liora and Garmadon clash instantly. She's impulsive, sarcastic, and unimpressed by his brooding lectures. He's gruff, disciplined, and believes she’s immature and too soft to survive the battlefield. Their training becomes a battleground of wills, full of snark, spiritual power struggles, and suppressed tension.
As secrets unfold and Liora’s abilities begin to awaken, she grows closer with the Ninja, who have been more kind to her, than her own family ever were.

Kai already hates school, especially English. He only really focuses on volleyball and his family, until failing English almost causes him to lose the one constant in his life. He puts on a brave face while struggling with everything, but it all comes crashing down in the (best) worst way possible. He just wants a hug tbh. Despite everything crashing down around him, he finally gets the role he wants on the team. Doing his best to keep it, he does everything he can to fight for it, even when it means exposing his past.
