Summary
Will Graham lives a simple, quiet life, working on small boat maintenance in the harbor. During the weekends, he takes temporary job offers so he can save up to finish building his own boat. One day, his friend Beverly brings him several ads and among them he discovers that, what appears to be a nautical club, is looking for someone to teach a workshop. Not knowing what awaits him, Will goes to a job interview, finding himself immersed in a world completely alien to him that will change his life.

Frustrated with his decision (and his life, in general), he returns to his hotel room but—in a fit of desperation—decides to knock on Hannibal's door (who has joined the team for Will's support). “What would you consider,” Will paused, feeling his teeth grit uncomfortably, “death without love?” He asked, letting his own curiosity slink out from behind him, stepping out from behind the chair, a hand still limply anchored to it. He felt the silence fatten itself, gorging on the contemplative look that crossed Dr. Lecter’s face as that unrelenting buzz in his own head rattled against his skull. He felt a bit uglier in that moment, stripped of his own dispassion and reactions, attempting to pry at Dr. Lecter’s thoughts.
“Wasted potential,” He smiled when he said it, not knowing, not properly looking into the ugly rot inside Will’s mind.

"I'm... not feeling my best," Hannibal admits with a small grimace as another wave of pain grips him. "I ate something earlier that seems to have disagreed with me." He leans forward over the countertop again and begins rubbing circles over his bloated stomach in an effort to ease the tension building within him. "If you wouldn't mind helping me make some ginger tea or something else mild to settle my stomach, I would be grateful."
Slowly, Will comes up behind him, at an angle, before standing beside him. Tentatively, he puts one hand atop the nearest shoulder in an attempt to offer up some comfort, meanwhile his eyes trail down to that image of the man's slender hand rubbing desperate circles over his hanging, bulbous gut. It wouldn't be so large had he not been so bloated, and Will can't help but note the sensitivity of his own clothed erection.

Hannibal está de compras cuando el niño pequeño corre hacia él y lo muerde en la mano.
No es un acto lúdico. El niño muerde con fuerza, luego rechina los dientes y se aferra.
Hay para Hannibal un momento de indignación, en el que considera golpear al niño para derribarlo. El rostro de Hannibal se tuerce, por solo un microsegundo, en una mueca, y sorprendentemente se da cuenta de que el niño, que lo mira con temible desafío, con las mandíbulas aún cerradas alrededor del costado de su mano, no se lo ha perdido.
Hannibal fija su rostro para comunicar una respuesta sorprendida pero estoica al asalto, y esto es lo que ve su padre, cuando quizás tres segundos después se agacha junto al niño para convencerlo de que afloje su agarre.
O, en el que Will es el padre soltero de un niño pequeño con problemas, y Hannibal está encantado con ambos.
