Summary
While investigating a series of strange land buyouts for Susan's childhood friend, Susan starts to suspect that there's more to Hawk and Spenser's past than simply friendship. When she confronts him, Spenser has to figure out where he stands with both of the people he cares most about, and decide if he's got it in him to rewrite the rules of a game he's only ever played one way.

Summary
Hawk learns that Spenser ran into the burning building to save a firefighter that was trapped... instead of letting the other firefighters do it. He doesn't understand why his boyfriend did what he did but he will be there to help him in the aftermath of his actions anyway. He tries to get Spenser to take a well-needed nap but Spenser gets pulled away before that can happen. Hawk finally gets Spenser to go to sleep after they talk about his hectic day.
Or, it's a different take on "No Room at the Inn" (Season 1, Episode 2).

Adam Ruzek is struggling with questions of his own, especially after reeling from the betrayal of another father figure/mentor in Sal Ortiz.
