As the Invasion of Super Earth goes on, all Super Earth Armed Forces personnel are ordered to return to the Sol system to defend the Heart of democracy.
It should just be another mission for Corporal Jon A. Shepard of the Helldivers Corps, a mission in his currently besieged home city, Equality-On-Sea.

Summary
During the war with the Illuminate, Copper 9 was a world near the border of Illuminate territory and was used to study their technology. Built up with a large drone force to help with the construction of the world infrastructure, several of these drones were also used to test out Illuminate weapons and dark fluids.
However, as the war progressed, the Illuminate attacked Copper 9, resulting in massive levels of damage to the planet itself. And the human population was forced to flee, leaving behind the drones on the now toxic and broken planet.
Many years later, after the war, Super Earth's eyes are back on Copper 9, and several Helldivers are sent to Copper 9.

They must have been, the Federation of Super Earth had said so; annihilated during the Great Galactic War along with all the other threats to Managed Democracy. So Clover was understandably confused when he set out to find the five missing Cadets only to discover a whole society of Monsters sealed underground.
What’s more, these Monsters were nothing like the tyrannical, Freedom-hating killers history had portrayed them as.
Things just weren't adding up. But why? It’s not like Super Earth would have lied, right?

Summary
