Summary
It wasn’t long after The Play. Give it a month or two at most, but a lot of stuff happened over the remaining quarter of High School, and Jeremy was just settling back in.
First, the relationship with him and Christine ended not even a month in.
The two simply didn’t actually want to see each other in a relationship of that sort.
Jeremy realized he never actually saw anyone in a romantic manner.
Christine realized that she wasn’t interested in guys.
The two of them were still friends after as well.
Second, Michael and Jeremy fixed up their friendship.
It took a while. but eventually they realized that they were just in a toxic environment; it was because of the SQUIP that Jeremy got sucked into the toxicity.
The rest was actually having to learn the subjects coming up for finals.
His SQUIP did most of that before, so Jeremy never actually learned it; leaving him to study with Rich..(He had a little sour lingering feelings with him)
However, the moment Jeremy finally got used to not having a SQUIP anymore, it reactivated.
There’s something telling him that there’s no amount of Mountain Dew Red that he’s able to use to shut it down this time…

Summary
After the events of the Play, the Squip’s hardware is damaged, and ends up accidentally being rejected from Jeremy’s head. Normally, this would essentially “kill” it, since SQUIPs were designed to only work inside of a human host. But, the will to live is a powerful force, even for a supercomputer, so using the materials available to it (Jeremy’s DNA) they form themselves their own human body, essentially becoming their own host. But they also look just like Jeremy, so that's fine.
Slowly but surely, the Squip will figure out this whole human thing, but thankfully they don't have to do it alone.- Words:
