I wrote this on a whim: https://sunxcherries.tumblr.com/post/188768346156/untitled-reddie-abo-anon only to find the idea wouldn't leave me alone, so this starts very shortly after that snippet ends, and builds not only on Eddie and Richie's burgeoning relationship, but on the pack dynamics within the Losers Club, the social implications of their very non-standard pack living in a close-minded small town, this particular AU's take on the whole A/B/O thing, Eddie's relationship with himself, the scars left by his upbringing...
This is going to start with most of the Losers as college students working jobs and may continue as a series that follows them into further adulthood.

It’s 7:30 in the morning on a Wednesday when Bill’s eyes scan around the room, looking for something comfortable to train his eyes on. After the death of their father at the age of seventeen, most eyes would be swimming in tears sitting in the funeral home, trying to decide which blurry picture to use as the memorial card. Regardless, Bill Denbrough’s eyes are dry. It’s not that he hated Zack Denbrough, but he feels as if for the past six years, he hasn’t known him, and his view up until age eleven would have been very biased. Most little boys want to grow up just like their fathers, and Bill used to, even when he wasn’t someone to look up to.

"Only a few more miles to go, babe," Richie chirps, "Just enjoy the scenery! Look at these trees! Look at that view!"
"Look at the road!" Eddie snaps. "We could've gone the rest of our lives without camping, you know. We could be back home, watching season two of Mindhunter and drinking that wine Bev and Ben got us for our anniversary."
