Killua is a rockstar with some… messy habits. That’s how he tells it to his sister when she calls, the reality of it is a lot more destructive.
Except now she’s not calling, she’s in his hotel room writing on his arm cast (no, he doesn’t remember how he broke it) and demanding to join him and his band for their cross-country tour. He can’t send her home for obvious reasons. He needs someone to keep an eye on her, or more accurately, keep her eyes off the disaster that is his life.
And when his band manager Bisky says she knows the perfect person he thinks that maybe, he’s finally got lucky, and maybe it will all be fine.
Except things are never, ever, fine with him.

This same scenario has played out many times. So many times that their friends stopped acting surprised when they both had suddenly disappeared from the crowd in a dimly lit house during a party or when Zushi realized he was talking to a wall when he would catch a glimpse of Killua eyeing Gon across the kitchen, only for Gon to moments later mumble something about going to get another drink. Summary
Killua Zoldyck’s carefully crafted strategy to graduate early was all going according to plan. Until the beginning of his last scheduled year, when his academic advisor decided to share that he was missing all of his required athletics credits. And that all gym classes were full for the year. And, no, scanning into the workout center once a week could not count for credit.
What could count for full credit, though, was being a practicing athlete on a university sports team for a minimum of two semesters. Great news for the men’s baseball coach whose team desperately needed a new pitcher and was willing to give opposite-of-athletic Killua a shot. No hitting required, minimal fielding promised, and an unexpectedly killer curveball later, and Killua had a #99 jersey with his last name on it.
The issue? Killua knew nothing about baseball. Luckily for him, team captain and catcher Gon Freecss had selflessly volunteered to teach Killua everything he needed to know about the game outside of practices.
Luckily for him, Killua loved study sessions. And baseball pants. And maybe the fact that things didn’t always go according to plan.

Summary
[Completed] It's hard to accept change as it happens, and Gon has seen a lot of it.
Heat advisories take over Gon's home, YorkNew City, as he and his friends arrive for another week in hell, or in other words... school. Things don't turn out the way they planned, though. Students have gone rabid, and the school becomes a warzone. It doesn't take long for Gon and his friends to find themselves trapped amongst other students, none of whom trust each other. One of those students happen to be a long lost friend of his, and Gon isn't quite sure if he'd rather fight off zombies or face his true feelings. And in a sense... Killua feels the same way.
Will they escape with their lives? That's the question isn't it.

"Are you okay?!"
The panic in Killua's words had been enough to trigger Gon's flight reflexes, but the sight of another infected student's eyes locking on Killua's neck and reeling back to pounce ensued Gon's fight reflex. He took the book from under Killua's arm and, as the monster lept at full speed, clocked him right in the head. The force was enough to send the monster to his back, and Gon decided he was taking no more chances.
He grabbed Killua's hand, and ran.

In the end, they'd been able to make him want to come. The idea of spending such a long time away from home, and with theater kids of all people, was not a pleasure, principally with Madame for only accompanist. But, on the other hand, there was also the perspective of a week off of school spent with friends, and that side of it was so appealing. Then, there was the logistic aspect. If his parents found out about the trip, they'd force him to go anyway, so he'd have to be extra careful for them not to discover. Reasons added up and Killua came to conclusion that it was just a lot easier to give in, for his final answer was a yes.
