This fanfic was inspired by a headcanon from studentinpursuitofclouds on tumblr about the SDV/SVE bachelors’ ideal family moments. It sparked the idea for me to write this story as an opportunity to introduce my farmer OC’s baby with her spouse.

A semi-rewrite of my previous work, From Despair to Sunshine, since I no longer work on it, now including Stardew Valley Expanded. Lance in this is based off of the mod Lance Expanded by aviroen. Unfortunately the mod is no longer being worked on, as the mod author is creating an entirely new expansion, but their writing of Lance is absolutely fantastic and inspired me to start writing again.

Anne is exhausted. Working for Joja was never what she wanted to do with her life, but there's a complete lack of other jobs for someone with an education degree and Joja will hire anyone with a pulse as anyone with a remotely useful skill is in the army or working in Ferngill military factories, and she can't go back to being a paramedic either after that incident during college. So she wastes away at a grimy desk in one of Joja's many warehouses, until she finds a long-forgotten letter at the bottom of a drawer...
When she gets to the valley, she'll befriend the villagers, build up her farm to prosperity, and maybe even get to know that stranger in the tower. However, the wizard isn't the only one keeping an eye on her, and there's a lot more to this quiet valley than meets the eye.

Summary
This is a chronological collection of my Lance and Faye stories. I'll be adding to it as inspiration strikes adding in major events and silly scenarios as I think of them. Eventually once I have enough written I intend to take the one shots and turn them into a fully realized chaptered story linking all of them together. The series will remain up even after that happens (if it happens because life is unpredictable and all the good intentions in the world can't stop it) since I know some of my readers will prefer this format of a more storied one. That and I see no point in taking any of it down. When I started writing for them I hadn't planned for it to go past more than a few one shots but this is evolving past my original thoughts. And since I tend to skip around their timeline like a caffeinated squirrel I put together this series for ease of reading and keeping things in the proper timeline. All of them are standalone but a few do have references to earlier fics in the sequence but aren't necessary to read for it to make sense. I hope you all enjoy my work and please remember to be kind.
