Lance Sanchez-McClain died in a piloting accident. He had just made it from cargo-pilot to fighter class but it seems he was promoted too soon. He's been so excited when he's called them with the news. He's not excited anymore and the Galaxy Garrison refuses to release his body. Those who have followed Lance's story know he joined an intergalactic battle for peace, joining a whole new world filled with aliens and technology Earth has never seen before.
This isn't about where he went, this is about what he left behind. Who he left behind.

Keith turned slowly, eyes levelling with a man about his age who was gesturing to his bike, which was taking up a parking space. When Keith met his gaze, the other man’s eyes widened slightly, as if he hadn’t expected him to face him. Keith was too tired for this.
“Yeah, I am,” he replied, hoping that the other man would pick up on his mood and drop it.
“Are you sure?” He didn’t. Keith rolled his eyes as the man continued, “Aren’t there designated spots in which you can park your murder machine?”
Keith scoffed. Studying the stranger, he took in his dark, messy hair and casual, blue shirt which he had rolled up to his elbows. He was kind of cute. Too bad he was an asshole.
