Summary
Crowley’s latest art model is polite, attractive, and extremely comfortable being nude. Crowley is determined to keep their relationship professional — until an afternoon of golden light and a pair of angel wings brings out a particularly captivating expression on Aziraphale’s face. Suddenly, Crowley’s rule about not getting involved with his models is going to be very difficult to keep.
Aziraphale slowly opens his eyes, his gaze going directly to Crowley.
“Do you have what you want?” Aziraphale asks quietly, still holding his pose.
Crowley swallows, his throat dry. What he wants isn’t crude marks on paper. He wants flesh and blood, heat and raw passion. He craves this man he can draw from memory and yet knows almost nothing about, who’s now sitting within his reach. “No… I don’t,” he replies in a low voice. He gazes at Aziraphale with undisguised desire. “Not yet.”
Electricity crackles across the room, the atmosphere charged. Aziraphale shifts and sits upright in the chair, his hair and wings catching the sunlight. Holding Crowley’s gaze, he spreads his legs wider, his lips slightly parted, the hint of his pink tongue an invitation.

All he catches are the last few moments, the final drops of black on Aziraphale's wrist disappearing underneath a skin tone that was a tad bit darker than Aziraphale's own skin.
He would recognize that skin tone anywhere, had seen it in the mirror for hours, but he wished he didn't.

When the magazine decides to close, he needs one last Big Idea to send the publication out with a bang. But where will he find a model willing to help recreate several centuries worth of fashion in only one week?
Aziraphale Z. Fell owns a bookshop, and has never looked at a fashion magazine in his life. He wants nothing more than to meet his philosophical celebrity idol, Gabriel, who has published a series of books about becoming a better person through empathy. But he can't just jet off to Pairs whenever he likes. Or can he?
Crowley makes him an offer: One week of modeling in exchange for a free trip to Pairs. Aziraphale will have to put his assumptions about modeling aside, and Crowley will have to learn to be more empathetic if they're going to work together and, just maybe, fall in love.
This is Funny Face but with Crowley as Fred Astaire and Aziraphale as Audrey Hepburn. Because there's a bookshop, and I wanted them to kiss on the ladder. And I've been thinking about this for a solid year and it's my birthday present to myself.

That little upturn at the tip always indicated her angel, but Crowley’s cloaked eyes were too busy taking in every inch of newly exposed skin: gentle sloping arms, the implication of her stomach’s curve, the head tilted back and the finger she was biting like it was that damned and blessed apple.
In a coy attempt to maintain her modesty, Vargas had positioned a flower to cover a bare breast, but a perky nipple still peeked out.
It was gorgeous artwork. She was ravishing.
