Continuation of part of Crow's route. I don't actually remember the chapter but it's the one where they have a muddy picnic together. I partially rewrote it so if you, like me, don't remember it: no worries!

The sun was beating down on New Sieg, and Teuta Bridges was in between a rock and a hard place. Or, more accurately, between Mozu and a very stubborn man in shorts and a floral-print shirt, looking as if he had just finished his side gig of being an on-screen dying extra of a Jaws movie. Clearly, someone bought the wrong plane tickets.
“Like I said!” The man yelled, instead of ‘saying’, “I don’t know where Kingfisher Park is! All I’m asking is for some help!”
“You have a considerable volume for what you think constitutes asking. And as we’ve told you, we’re in a hurry. I’ve shown you directions and typed in the search on your phone’s map, so all you need to do is follow it.” Mozu then paused thoughtfully. “Unless you’re incapable?”

“Mozu!” Teuta exclaims and she seems relieved to see him, “We- we have to go in- Ivy is-”
Mozu shakes his head through his stomach churns at the thought of Ivy in the burning room beside them. The heat is so intense from here he can only imagine what it's like inside. He can’t afford to think about that though- he has to keep Teuta safe. “It’s too dangerous. Let the firefighters handle it.”
Instead of seeing reason, Teuta only grows furious. “She’ll be dead by then!”

Summary
He strangled Teuta.
The words bounce around in his skull over and over again like a mantra. Still, no matter how much he thinks it the words don’t seem real. He doesn’t remember hurting her, doesn’t remember anything after he realized his Dad was alive. Something must have happened though. There isn’t any other explanation for the broken memories he has of the underwater facility exploding or for the dark handprints he’d seen pressed into Teuta’s neck as she gasped for air.
