Summary
Jayce had his cute little hobbies. His cute little ways of coping with anxiety, or just something to keep his hands busy during stressful times. Jayce loved to draw and would genuinely put his energies into it when he felt like clearing his brain. It really helped to reset and start thinking with a clear head.
He also spent time at the forge. Maybe it was still related to his job, but sometimes he would take on little cute projects. Jayce made his mother a bouquet of iron roses, some balustrades for the Kirammans' house, and little things like rings that he gave away to everyone, especially Mel, cups, plates, a really cool beer mug for Vi. He also took orders from local hospitals for canes or crutches, making sure to personalise each one so people could choose.
He wondered what Viktor did purely for himself in his spare time. There had to be something that interested Viktor as much as science... and Jayce.

The irony struck him in those final moments—he, who had always expected to die in obscurity, was leaving the world in a blaze of light. The enormity of it overwhelmed him, yet in Jayce’s touch, there was a sense of peace. Viktor had squeezed his hand, a silent thanks as the arcane swallowed them whole.
First there was silence. Death a dream, soft and comforting, like falling asleep. Viktor, weightless, unbound by the pain and struggle that had defined his existence. Lingering, suspended in the void.
And then the dream dissolves. And then Viktor opens his eyes.

Summary

They're juggling emotions and the prospect of a new save-the-world endeavor. Naph just wants to save his adoptive mecha-dad. A time shenanigans adventure with found family and the drama that comes with.
The TVA is mainly used as a plot bunny and conceptual framework for their time shenanigans. Just going until my brain turns to cheese. This is my first fic in a long while so please bear with me!

Naph thrusts the Piltie newspaper in his face. Plastered on the front page is a photo of Jayce, unsurprisingly, but upon further inspection, Viktor notices a smaller figure pressed against his side. A young girl stands next to his best friend turned nemesis. The last time Viktor checked, Jayce hated children, but here in the photo, the man looked completely at ease, an easy smile spread across his handsome face.
There’s only one good explanation for all of this: the little girl is Jayce’s kid.
Or, Viktor thinks Jayce has a kid. What’s the best course of action? Getting drunk and breaking into his lab, of course. Features exasperated children, dysfunctional adults, and a wall filled with photos of a certain Man of Progress.
