Summary
It was all over. She fought for herself, those who had perished at the hands of Commander TarTar, and all that had dared to follow her to the “Promise Land".
Eight had finally seen the surface she had yearned for and was ready to start a new life.
But, despite everything she had gone through with all who have been kind enough to help her… a certain Inkling that she so desperately wanted to interact with was giving her mixed signals.
Or rather:
A story that takes place after the Octo Expansion where Pearl and Marina take Agent Eight in and she does her best to connect with Agent Three. Agent Three also learns to accept help from others, especially concerning her new sanitization injuries.

"I- uh..." Eight said, looking for the right words to say. Three's expression changed, they now looked somewhat worried. Maybe they thought they'd made her upset. It was, in truth, the exact opposite. "I don't think you know how much you saying that means to me."
