    Just like that, Hyunjin can physically feel the pain as their heart is breaking apart. Their stomach is torn to irreparable shreds in just a single moment. The tight grasp of their white fingertips, which they’ve continued to hold onto throughout this entire conversation, falters for the first time. Their strength is rapidly dwindling as dizziness fogs up their brain. Hyunjin already regrets wishing for anything. It would’ve been preferable if Felix didn’t have a reason at all; if he had just decided to stop loving them sometime between this morning and noon. At least then, he might still be safe. Hyunjin would rather be alone for the rest of eternity if it meant that Felix didn’t have to experience this ever again.

      I absolutely loved this. These are people who are dealing with some difficult circumstances, but their lives are so full with love for each other. Everything is rough around the edges and imperfect yet gloriously warm and beautiful. And Felix and Hyunjin's relationship, despite unconventional, feels like it falls into place perfectly.

      For the scary parts - the episode, the seizures, I haven't experienced anything like that so I cannot say for sure, but the way they are written makes them feel very realistic! In general, I really like the writing style. A lot of things are conveyed without saying them explicitly.

      My favorite lines:

      > For the first time today Hyunjin actually feels like Hyunjin, studded black combat boots and all. They accept that their amazing boyfriend is still safe. He’s still beside them, and clearly has zero intentions to leave anytime soon. He would’ve done that long before now. He’s still just as perfect, and wonderful, and just as madly in love with them as he was yesterday. Hyunjin knows that they feel the same, so now it seems obvious that they had nothing to worry about in the first place.

      Perhaps I'm seeing too much into it, but there's nothing I like more than a character that needs to look a certain way to feel like themselves.

      > The first flicker of consciousness is so small that the others don’t notice it, but Hyunjin sees it like a flickering neon sign that’s glowing in the blackened darkness of midnight.

      So superlative. I love it!

      > My amazing Hyunnie, you have helped me in so many ways, tons that I never could’ve ever imagined were even possible before. That includes right now lovely. You make me feel… warm, and whole again. It feels like everything’s exactly how it’s supposed to be now. And there’s so much more that you do for me too, even though you really don’t have to do anything at all lovely. Ever. Just knowing how much you care is all that I really need.

      Love that feels so certain, so secure, is one of the greatest things in life.

    “I erased-”

    “No! I know how your quirk works,” the kid interrupted, his frame shaking like a leaf in the wind, “It erases the quirk of those who aren’t already physically changed by their quirk or whatever. I want to know how you removed my voice!”

    In this world, Midoriya Izuku tries to be an above the law quirkless-not-vigilante.
