To protect your secrets, how far are you willing to go?
This is the dilemma that Papyrus, the royal guard's captain of Snowdin town is facing since he accepted to protect the last fallen child. What he thought would be a simple task is slowly driving him away from his guard's duty, at the worst time possible.
When he finally understands something is really wrong with Undyne, his rival and only friend, it's too late. Overnight, the general announces to him that he is now in charge of the royal guard and disappears from his life.
Even if he tried, Papyrus couldn't resolve himself to let her go without knowing why she gave up on everything in one night. However, by trying to dig out too many secrets, Papyrus has to face a lot of problems. Threats, intimidation, someone is trying to force him to give up.
But the more he searches, the more he realizes all the tracks lead to Asgore. The King is known for his impeccable justice and his absence of mercy. If he doesn't give up, he might lose way more than just his job.
Split between his vocation and his friendship, Papyrus will have to make a choice.

Monsters are free, and Frisk is safe and sound at home.
It feels like fairy tales are real, though a rough break-up after eight years of marriage quickly sobers that thinking.
With the break-up follows a proposal straight out of a steamy novel: share a room with a man you've just met, while you get back on your feet and work on the process of finding a new place to move into.
Turns out, the guy who smells like grease and beer from how often he visits Grillby's is a lot less romantic than you would think.
And it's precisely living together what gets you to know all the icky things about him.
Until you end up falling for him with each nice little thing he does, and suddenly...
It feels like all those icky things start to matter less and less.
More so, when things take a sharp turn and you're in the middle of a gang fight, helping him however you can despite not knowing what you're signing up for.
Overlooking details like bloody clothing, chipped teeth, and reports of missing people on the telly make seeing him drinking straight from the milk carton a much more tolerable offense.

Frisk tried to hide it. They really tried.
It all started with a strange itching sensation along their arms. Toriel assured them it was nothing serious and that, if needed, she would take them to see a human doctor to check if everything was alright. Yes, except there was one big problem: Frisk hated doctors.
The next day, the itching spread to their legs. Frisk isolated themselves the best they could to scratch their body, pushing away their friends’ attempts to hang out for as long as they could, even cancelling them if they could. During the night, the itching became unbearable, to the point they had to muffle themselves in a pillow so Toriel wouldn’t hear their painful sobs. They didn’t want to lie to her. But they were too scared to go to the doctor.
But this… would be harder to hide.
Frisk didn’t notice the problem right away when they woke up. The skin of their hands seemed to have evaporated. All that was left was the skeleton underneath it, circled with a weird translucent outline.
Frisk and Papyrus both learned something new that day.
